Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
We do! We work with Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, BlueCross and BlueShield, CareFirst, Cigna and Evernorth, and UnitedHealthcare UHC/UBH. If we are not in network with your insurance, we do provide superbills that can be submitted to your insurance company for re-imbursement.
What are your hours of operation?
Typical office hours 8am to 8pm, Monday thru Friday. We really strive to meet the client where they are- we recognize that everyone’s schedules are different so if you have different needs, please ask when scheduling.
Do you offer telehealth?
Right Minded offers both telehealth and in person appointments. The initial intake is a longer session where both medical and psychiatric history are gathered and discussed. While the intake is preferred to be in person, it is understandable that this isn’t always possible.
How do I make an appointment?
Fill out the contact form and someone will reach out to you within 24 hours during normal business days.
What if I’m not sure I need medication?
This is a great question to ask! Not every condition needs to be treated with medications. Medications are a tool, not a total solution. A lot of the work is done by the person in the fight. We can do an evaluation and give you our opinion, but it truly is a personal choice.
Do you offer GeneSight genetic testing?
Right Minded LLC offers GeneSight Psychotropic testing when it is appropriate for the patient. The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test helps clinicians decide which medications to treat several mental health conditions. It can help with what medicines might need a dose adjustment, be less likely to work, or have an increased risk of side effects, all based on your DNA.
