Kimberly Braden

CRNP-PMH

Kimberly Braden is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner caring for patients across the lifespan. She provides consultation, evaluation and ongoing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. She started her journey into nursing at Frederick Community College then worked in a medical hospital setting while working towards her bachelor’s degree at Frostburg State University. Before graduation she transferred to be a floor nurse in an in-patient psychiatric unit as well as in an intensive outpatient setting. She also served as a Forensic Nurse Examiner, which gave her a keen interest in helping those who have had their lives uprooted by abuse or trauma. She continued at Frostburg State for her Master of Science in Nursing to achieve her goal of becoming a provider for those she saw as most in need. After graduation, Kimberly worked as a travel nurse in several hospitals in both Maryland and Virginia to gain experiences with populations she felt underexposed to during her career in the local setting.  She then moved to work in private practice before deciding to start her own. She founded Right Minded LLC as she felt it was the best way to help what she felt was a mental health pandemic that followed COVID.
